My Experience with Social Media

My experience with social media is quite decent. For example, I might want to buy the cosmetics that a cute girl uses, and because I'm easily influenced, there are a lot of things I want to do. I also make friends with strangers through open chat on LINE. Some people may say that open chat is scary, but I don't think so. Maybe I was lucky, but the chat room I joined was made up of only students, which made it a very comfortable place to talk. So, in my free time, I chat with my online friends in open chat rooms. I like drawing, so I write down everyone's requests and show them my original drawings. I'm very happy that so many people compliment my drawings, and it motivates me to work harder. The other members also draw, so we talk about drawing, anime, our favorite songs, and various other things. Also, since we are students, we enjoy talking about what happened today. Open chat has evolved recently and now you can also make phone calls. So, I called during the summer...

My favorite place

My favorite place is karaoke. Karaoke is available everywhere and is cheap to enter. My hometown is in the countryside, so when I go out with friends we usually go to karaoke. ☺️I think I've been going there since I was in elementary school, so I've been going there for a really long time.🤔You can bring your own food to the karaoke , and there's unlimited juice, so you can have a sweets party or birthday party with friends. I also made balloons at karaoke and took a photo to celebrate my friend's birthday! If you go with a large group, the price is cheaper and you can also take advantage of student discounts, which I think is a great plus. It also has a scoring function, so I love competing with friends or singing duets together! I want to get better at singing, so I sometimes practice by myself.😎

Am I changing from high school?

A few things have changed since I was in high school. The first one is my table tennis technique. When I was in high school, I was the only female member of the club in my year. One of the juniors was also alone and was unable to participate in the team match. Before I entered university, I heard that Shukutoku University was a strong school in table tennis. Because of this, there were so many female members and I was very happy at that time. I was able to participate in team competitions and going out to eat somewhere after club activities was my dream when I was in high school. Also, since everyone came from strong schools, my table tennis skills improved even more. On May 9th, I was selected as a player for the team. I played the game and won. I've become stronger thanks to everyone, and I'm happy I was able to contribute in the team match. My club activities are much more fulfilling and fun than when I was in high school!

Common Stereotypes in Media Today

I think there are a lot of stereotypes caused by social media. I have Instagram reels videos that show a variety of fashion videos. Among them, when looking at the comments about gals and ziraikei, there are a lot of critical comments. Do you know about elementary school gals? There are many critical comments such as, "They look stupid," "Is it okay for elementary school students to dye their hair?"However, I found that the children were well-mannered, had appeared on television, and were well-behaved. I don't think it's good to give a bad impression just because you look like a gal. Also, in the novel "Biri Gal," there is a real example of someone passing the entrance exam for Keio University. I think there are other stereotypes. However, I think it is important to judge people by their inner qualities, not by their outer appearance.

How People in My Culture Express Anger

I think people have different patterns of how they get angry. For example, there are various ways to get angry, such as yelling, becoming quiet, or glaring. This is my personal opinion, but I think the way Japanese people get angry changes depending on their personality. I think a short tempered person bangs on the table or yells in anger. I also think it's more prevalent among men. On the other hands, I think calm people will click their tongues or glare at other and putting pressure on others with a fake smile. I think this is more prevalent in women. I think the way people get angry various depending on their personality and gender. And I thought maybe I change the way I get angry depending on the person. It is like you can say anything to your parents or best friends, but nothing to anyone else.

My dream

I will tell you about my dream.  My current dream is to become a tour guide.  First of all, I like to communicate, so I wanted to work in the customer service industry.  I also want to find a job where I can use my English skills.  When I was in high school, I went to Australia to study abroad.  At that time, I was guided by a Japanese tour guide who works in Australia.  I was surprised to learn that there are guides who guide Japanese people overseas.  Her English skills and conversation skills were so good that I wanted to be like her.

My class goals

My class goal is  to improve my writing and reading skills.Because I am not good at reading and writing.I am in the lower rank of the Reading in Grobal Communication. So,I want to read blogs and improve my reading skills. And the other one is writing.I wasn't able to write much in the free writing of the first this class.I thought my reading and writing skills have a lot of to improve. For that, I want to write good comments and read good blogs. If I can improve my reading and writing skills, I want to be able to solve TOEIC and problem in the test
